Quality Technician III - Sacramento, CA We are seeking a Quality Technician III to join our team and support the plant's Food Safety and Quality Assurance programs. This role is responsible for performing validation and verification activities during the shift and ensuring adherence to the Food Safety Management System in collaboration with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams. Uphold and promote a safety-first culture in all activities Conduct line audits and review documentation with comprehensive knowledge of production lines Apply expert knowledge of quality procedures and plant-wide standards Work independently with a high degree of initiative and professionalism Train and mentor junior quality technicians in a collaborative environment Lead and resolve quality issues with sound decision-making, balancing product integrity and financial impact Communicate effectively with vendors regarding quality concerns Assess substandard batches and determine appropriate corrective actions Lead VMS audits and support QA aspects of plant trials Better Process Control School certified Completed Lean Six Sigma (Yellow, White, and Lean Belt) AIB Food Sanitation certified HACCP/HARPC Training course or workshop completed
