About the Role

As a Residential Service Electrician at Mr. Electric of Roseville, you are the face of our brand and a vital protector of home safety in our community. And you are a master trouble-shooter in residential settings. Your primary purpose is to diagnose, repair, and upgrade residential electrical systems while delivering an exceptional, customer-focused experience.

This role is critical to our mission because we don't just fix electrical problems - we build lasting trust with homeowners. Working independently with modern tools, iPad technology, and a fully stocked take-home vehicle, you will serve as a consultative expert who provides options, educates customers on safety, and delivers craftsman-level solutions.

• Top Earning Potential: Average annual income of $100,000 – $110,000 (uncapped 100% commission structure supported by heavy lead flow).

Core Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided vehicle to residential service calls to perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance in compliance with NEC code.

• Use iPad technology and modern service software to generate clear, transparent estimates and options for homeowners.

• Communicate empathetically and effectively with clients, educating them on safety concerns and presenting solutions without high-pressure sales tactics.

• Allow homeowners to choose the scope of work that fits their needs today, trusting that great service earns their future business.

• Keep your company-provided van clean, organized, and inventory-ready for maximum daily efficiency.

• Participate actively in team meetings, safety workshops, and up to two weeks of out-of-state paid training per year.

Required & Preferred Experience

• Residential Experience: Minimum of 1 year of residential electrical experience (working at a company similar to Mr. Electric) - focused, successful and enjoys residential service and troubleshooting

• Industry Background: Previous experience working for a similar home services or service-oriented electrical company is highly preferred.

• Certifications: Certified Electrician preferred (Journeyman-level technical competency required).

• Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of NEC codes, diagnostic troubleshooting, and quality craftsmanship.

• Screening Requirements: Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass a background check, motor vehicle report (MVR), and drug screening.

• Schedule & Travel: Standard availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility for customer needs), and ability to travel up to two weeks per year for advanced training.
