The Job:  

As a Senior Finance Manager, SEF Americas, you’ll be part of our Stanley Engineering Fastening (SEF) Americas team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

• Serve as the primary finance and accounting leader, with ownership for financial stewardship, accurate reporting, and alignment to corporate standards across multiple sites.
• Act as a trusted business partner to operations leadership, using financial insight, strategic influence, and constructive challenge to shape decisions and improve business performance.
• Lead actuals, forecasts, budgets, and performance reviews, ensuring timely visibility to risks, opportunities, and actions needed to deliver commitments.
• Drive cost, cash, and productivity performance across the plants by identifying trends, monitoring key operational and financial drivers, and partnering with site leaders on corrective actions.
• Translate plant performance data into actionable insights and business cases that support strategic planning, operational trade-offs, and long-term value creation.
• Strengthen internal controls and compliance across the plants by ensuring SOX discipline, audit readiness, remediation of findings, and a culture of ethics and integrity.
• Lead and influence site Controllers, Finance Managers, and extended finance teams to build capability, accountability, and consistent execution across the network.
• Support capital prioritization, transformation initiatives, and process improvement efforts that enhance financial rigor, operational efficiency, and enterprise alignment.
• Promote best-practice sharing, standardization, and continuous improvement across sites to improve decision quality, reporting consistency, and overall plant performance.
• Build strong relationships across operations, supply chain, commercial finance, and corporate functions to ensure end-to-end business partnership and an enterprise mindset.

 

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, including significant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations finance.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of JDE Edwards and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading across multiple sites or within a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrates an enterprise mindset and balances local site needs with broader business priorities.
• Leads change effectively and helps teams navigate transformation, ambiguity, and evolving business requirements.
• Develops people through coaching, feedback, and talent planning.
• Communicates with clarity and impact, including with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Models accountability, ethics, and integrity in all aspects of financial leadership..

The Salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00
