Description
The Opportunity
Do you like solving messy problems, organizing chaos, and turning data into decisions? Are you curious about how cloud technology, finance, and strategy intersect—? If so, this role was built for you.
This is a high-impact opportunity to join Adobe’s Cloud FinOps program, where we help teams understand, optimize, and make smarter decisions about cloud usage and investment. Work closely with finance, engineering, product, and leadership to drive meaningful cost efficiency—while building systems, dashboards, and processes that scale. We’re looking for someone motivated, thoughtful, and organized. Deep cloud expertise is helpful—but curiosity, grit, and the ability to break problems down and build solutions matter more. If you’ve ever enjoyed consulting-style problem solving, building your own frameworks, or automating something just because it annoyed you that it was manual—this role will feel like home.
The Challenge
As a FinOps Cloud Analyst, you’ll play a central role in how cloud efficiency data is created, shared, and acted on across Adobe—directly contributing to savings initiatives with millions of dollars in impact.
You will:
- Design and run processes that collect, analyze, and distribute cloud cost, usage and efficiency metrics across every product team in Adobe
- Create dashboards, tools, and automation that reduce manual work and scale insights (Tableau, SQL, Python, Cursor, or similar tools welcomed)
- Help shape operating strategies for cloud optimization—identifying data, opportunities, and risks and turning insights into executable programs with achievements based roadmaps
- Support internal “customers” by answering inquiries, surfacing trends, and proactively delivering the information teams need
- Model financial impacts of cloud infrastructure and operating decisions and present insights to key decision makers
Key Skills and Experience Needed:
- General: Are a full stack finance athlete with added capabilities across customer insights development, strategy creation, multi-functional leadership and program execution
- Program Management: Ability to simultaneously oversee and lead multiple cloud business initiatives with high organizational skills. Ease in collaborating with finance, engineering and product managers to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables. Comfort in proposing / correcting pathways not just documenting what others say.
- Technical Capability: An ability to automate the manual and engage with the ever changing business analytics and AI landscape
- Finance & Analytics: Solid grasp of financial modeling and budgeting. You love numbers and Excel. Comfort working with ambiguity and can synthesize information into numbers with ease.
- Customer Engagement: Skilled at building trust, influencing without authority, and soliciting feedback to incorporate into programs and communications. Not afraid to ask questions to get clarity.
- Executive Communication: An uncanny ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to present succinct, thoughtful decisions and opportunities. Capacity to seek executive guidance and support to overcome roadblocks. Competence in Power Point presentation and story telling.
- Grit: Demonstrated perseverance through complex challenges and the ability to turn incomplete information into actionable decisions.
Why This Role Is Exciting
- You’ll sit at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy
- Build—not just maintain—dashboards, processes, and automations
- Gain exposure to executives and teams across all products and roles
- Develop highly transferable skills in cloud economics, analytics, and AI-enabled work
- Own your outcome - You’ll be trusted to figure things out and shape how FinOps operates
If you’re eager, analytical, and ready to grow fast—this role offers both responsibility and runway.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, analytics, consulting, or program management (flexible for exceptional candidates)
- Project/Program management experience (PMP certification not required)
- Consulting experience preferred
- High proficiency in Power Point, Excel and Jira – Tableau, SQL a plus
- History of working with large data sets and managing multiple concurrent work streams
