What you can expect
The Task Force Manager (TFM) is responsible for leading and coordinating urgent, high-impact changes and business disruptions affecting multiple programs, customers, suppliers and manufacturing plants. The role serves as the escalation leader for critical situations such as Supplier PCNs, component obsolescence, supply disruptions, quality crises and other events requiring rapid cross-functional alignment and execution.
- Lead cross-functional task forces for urgent changes impacting multiple programs and plants
- Own critical change events from identification through implementation and closure
- Conduct impact assessments covering timing, quality, cost, inventory, manufacturing and customer commitments
- Serve as primary escalation contact for customers, suppliers and executive leadership
- Drive containment, recovery plans, risk mitigation and business continuity actions
- Coordinate Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales and Program Management teams
- Lead governance reviews, executive reporting and lessons learned activities
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ASPICE, ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 requirements
- Act as Change Leader during periods of no Task Force activities
What you'll bring
- Strong technical background that may include knowledge of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), electrification products & components (including ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security) and a good understanding of cross-functional responsibilities
- Strong leadership, crisis management and change management capabilities
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to drive results in a global environment
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience (three additional years of relevant technical experience in lieu of a degree). A technical or engineering degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience with demonstrated success in program management, operations, supply chain, quality or engineering leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex programs across multiple phases of the product lifecycle
- Experience coaching or developing project and/or program managers is preferred
- Project Management certification is preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant operations environment is a plus
