🏠 The Home
This is an excellent opportunity to lead a 4-bed Children's Residential Home supporting children and young people aged 8–17 years with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home's leadership, regulatory compliance, quality of care, safeguarding and team development, ensuring children receive safe, stable and nurturing care that enables them to achieve positive outcomes.

Our client is seeking an experienced, child-focused Registered Manager with a strong understanding of children's residential care and a passion for achieving outstanding outcomes.
You will be confident in leading a team, driving quality standards and creating a positive culture where both children and staff can thrive.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation of the home.

Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements.

Deliver outstanding care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

Recruit, mentor, develop and support the staff team.

Oversee safeguarding, care planning, risk assessments and placement stability.

Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and partner agencies.

Manage budgets, staffing, rotas and overall home performance.
-
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards across the service.
✅ Essential Requirements
-
Previous experience working within an Ofsted Registered Children's Home.

Level 3 Children's & Young People's Workforce.

QCF Level 5 Leadership & Management, or willingness to work towards the qualification.

Good working knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and Ofsted expectations.

Full UK Driving Licence.
