Senior Packaging Specialist – EU (Fluids Plants)
Do you want to have a real impact on how packaging and logistics operate across Europe? We are looking for an experienced senior specialist who will take our packaging solutions to the next level and help set standards, optimize costs, and improve processes across the region. This role is part of Global Logistics and has a strong strategic impact on the entire European organization.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize packaging flows across EU plants (Fluids division)
- Design, develop, and implement innovative packaging solutions, including testing and validation
- Identify opportunities for material flow optimization between plants (efficiency, standardization, cost savings)
- Maintain and update packaging specifications in SAP
- Ensure packaging complies with customer requirements and internal quality standards
- Actively participate in claims management, packaging inventories, and records
- Communicate daily with suppliers, customers, and external partners
- Support and execute packaging trials at supplier and customer locations
- Share and implement best practices across EU plants
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in packaging and/or logistics within a manufacturing environment
- Background in packaging development or design
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Experience with SAP is advantage (customer systems are a plus)
- Fluent English communication in an international environment)
- Strong analytical and technical thinking
- Proactive, independent, and detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate across functions and locations
- Willingness for occasional travel within Europe
