Data Analyst

Billburg Accounting Inc. is looking to add a Data Analyst to our team of talented professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging a wide range of data sources to analyze, draw conclusions, and uncover opportunities or issues to drive sales and operational efficiencies and improve business performance. As our Data Analyst, you will: • Utilize a variety of data sources, including structured data in databases, data warehouses and other data stores as well as unstructured sources such as online customer feedback, emails, and customer surveys • Develop algorithms, models and insights to answer business questions, improve decision making, and provide timely and accurate understanding of a wide variety of customer and company data • Visualize and present complex data in a way that is intuitive and actionable • Discover different patterns and trends of customer behavior • Work cross-functionally across sales, marketing, finance, and product to build and implement data-driven decision making processes • Build data dashboards to measure and track KPIs against goals • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement complex datasets Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • Previous experience working with data collections, data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics • Advanced understanding of SQL, TSQL, stored procedures, and databases • Expert level knowledge of Excel, Tableau, and similar data analysis and visualization tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication, interpersonal, and management skills If you’re an experienced Data Analyst looking to take your career to the next level with a growing company, we want to hear from you.
