The OpportunityAs a Tax LLM - National Tax Services - Mergers & Acquisitions - Associate, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services to optimize strategies, minimize risks, and seize opportunities for sustainable growth. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that drives compliance while maximizing the bottom line for our clients. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and critical thinking to manage assigned workstreams and develop deliverables within client service engagements. You will focus on building meaningful client connections and developing a deeper understanding of the business context.

Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions to provide strategic insights
- Collaborating with clients to develop and implement tax-efficient structures for corporate transactions
- Assisting in the preparation and filing of consolidated tax returns to optimize tax positions
- Supporting domestic restructuring efforts by evaluating tax implications and confirming compliance with relevant laws
- Advising on post-deal integration processes to align financial and operational aspects for seamless transitions
- Developing tax models to assess the implications of various structural options and inform decision-making
- Participating in the review and interpretation of purchase and sale agreements to identify tax considerations
- Engaging in tax and finance integration projects to enhance the quality of tax data for reporting purposes
- Building relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored tax solutions
- Mentoring junior team members to foster their development and enhance team performance
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
