The OpportunityAs a Washington DC - Tax LLM - National Tax Services - International Tax - Associate, you will navigate the complexities of the global tax landscape, providing tailored tax services to optimize strategies, minimize risks, and seize opportunities for sustainable growth. Within our Tax practice, you will be part of a team that drives compliance and delivers innovative solutions to help clients stay ahead in an ever-changing tax environment.
As a Senior Associate, you will develop meaningful client connections and guide others through complex situations. You will leverage your skills to analyze intricate problems, mentor junior team members, and uphold professional standards. This role emphasizes relationship building, managing others, and personal growth, allowing you to deepen your understanding of the business context and enhance your technical skills.
In this role at PwC, you will assist businesses in designing and implementing effective international tax and legal structures, optimizing global operations, and reinforcing compliance with cross-border regulations. Your work will contribute to the firm's overall business strategies, providing comprehensive tax advice and planning strategies for businesses operating across borders.
Responsibilities
- Navigating complex international tax regulations to optimize global tax positions for clients
- Developing and implementing tax-efficient structures and strategies to minimize liabilities
- Conducting tax research and analysis to provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice
- Preparing and reviewing tax documents, including income statements and tax returns, to validate compliance
- Collaborating with teams to design integrated global structuring solutions that align with business objectives
- Advising clients on corporate tax planning and domestic restructuring to maximize investment returns
- Consulting on regulatory compliance to help organizations meet applicable laws and regulations
- Engaging in transaction services to support and facilitate business transactions through financial due diligence and structuring
- Utilizing skills in Controlled Foreign Companies and Foreign Tax Credit to navigate cross-border tax laws
- Participating in stakeholder engagement to address diverse perspectives and needs in tax consulting projects
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master of Laws degree
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
