Infrastructure Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the administration, support, engineering, and continuous improvement of enterprise communication and collaboration platforms. This role focuses on voice services, Microsoft Teams Phone, Operator Connect, RingCentral Fax, conferencing technologies, meeting room solutions, audio/visual systems, office technology deployments, and business communication workflows.

 

Approximately 70% of this role is dedicated to unified communication, voice, conferencing, audio/visual systems, and meeting room technologies, with the remaining 30% focused on communication workflow support, documentation, vendor coordination, and operational process improvement.

 

At this time, US Anesthesia Partners does not hire candidates residing in California, Hawaii, or Alaska.

 

The base pay estimate for this role is $73,600 - $125,100 annually. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

Job Highlights

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation) 

 

• Administers and supports Microsoft Teams Phone and Teams Voice environments. 

• Manages Operator Connect providers, PSTN connectivity, phone number assignments, and carrier relationships. 

• Configures and maintains auto attendants, call queues, call routing, voice policies, resource accounts, and related Teams Voice settings. 

• Administers RingCentral Fax services, user access, routing, and related integrations. 

• Troubleshoots voice quality, call routing, dial plans, number assignment, fax delivery, and telephony-related issues. 

• Coordinates telephone number provisioning, porting, and lifecycle management activities. 

• Supports and optimizes communication workflows for clinical, operational, and corporate teams. 

• Designs and implements call flow changes and workflow improvements based on business requirements. 

• Administers conference room and meeting space technologies. 

• Supports audio/visual systems, including conference room displays, cameras, microphones, speaker systems, wireless presentation solutions, and digital collaboration devices. 

• Partners with office operations, and vendors to support new office builds, office relocations, and conference room deployments. 

• Participates in site planning and technology design for corporate offices and clinical locations. 

• Develops standards for conference rooms, collaboration spaces, and communication technologies. 

• Serves as tier 2/3 escalation support for voice, conferencing, and collaboration platforms. 

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs): 

 

Required 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent experience. 

• 3-5 years of enterprise IT or unified communications experience. 

• 2+ years administering Microsoft Teams Phone or enterprise voice platforms. 

• Experience supporting Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone, Operator Connect, RingCentral Fax, conferencing platforms, and collaboration technologies. 

• Experience with enterprise telephony concepts including SIP, PSTN, dial plans, call queues, and voice routing. 

• Experience supporting conference room technology and AV systems. 

• Knowledge of structured cabling, telecommunications infrastructure, and office technology deployment. 

• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, call flow diagrams, and support standards. 

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills. 

 

Preferred 

• Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate certification. 

• Experience with Teams Rooms solutions. 

• Experience supporting office buildouts, renovations, and technology deployments. 

• Experience with AV vendors and conferencing technology manufacturers. 

• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
