- Ability to prioritize duties and manage multiple competing priorities in a professional manner.
- Maintains confidentiality and security of documents.
- Holds a professional front office presence by meeting and greeting visitors to the County Clerk and assisting them appropriately.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to retain and follow detailed instructions.
- Receives and processes inquiries and requests in person, by phone, mail, courier or electronic.
- Handles inventory of office supplies.
- Works with Administrative Assistant and/or Division Supervisor to assist in the preparation of Commissioners Court Minutes.
- Reviews, prepares, scans and redacts various documents for recording and attaching to AgendaQuick.
- Redacts sensitive information such as bank account numbers, bond numbers, etc.
- Provides support with statistical reports and retention of documents.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- 1 year of job related clerical experience.
- Strong computer, typing (40 wpm) and data entry skills.
- Good written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills including diplomacy and problem solving to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, Adobe software.
- Valid Texas Driver License.
STARTING SALARY: $15.30 hourly, Up to 29 hours per week
CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
