Our client, a new high‑end resort in Zanzibar, is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Manager to lead all social media, content, and marketing activities—driving brand visibility, guest engagement, and commercial reach across key digital and offline channels.
In this role, you’ll blend imaginative content leadership with disciplined campaign execution, ensuring the resort is consistently and compellingly represented to its target audiences. You’ll craft engaging stories, elevate the brand’s digital presence, and deliver marketing initiatives that inspire travellers and support commercial goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own and execute the resort social media strategy, content calendar and day-to-day channel management across relevant platforms.
- Create, coordinate and curate high-quality visual and written content that reflects the Diamonds Bijoux brand, guest experience, destination and commercial priorities.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns supporting seasonal offers, packages, events, experiences and key business periods.
- Coordinate photo and video content production, including on-property shoots, user-generated content and collaborations with external creators where appropriate.
- Manage community engagement and ensure timely, professional and brand-aligned responses across social channels.
- Work closely with Sales, E-commerce and Operations to align marketing activity with commercial objectives and current business needs.
- Keep website, digital listings, marketing collateral and key brand touchpoints current, accurate and visually consistent.
- Monitor campaign and social performance, prepare regular reporting and use insights to improve reach, engagement, conversion and content effectiveness.
- Support PR, media, influencer and partnership opportunities that strengthen awareness and positioning.
- Maintain a clear and consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in hotel, resort, travel, lifestyle or premium consumer marketing, ideally within luxury hospitality.
- Strong hands-on social media and content-management capability with a clear understanding of what drives engagement and brand visibility.
- Excellent creative judgement and ability to translate the resort experience into attractive, commercially relevant content.
- Comfortable coordinating photography, video, design, copy and campaign delivery across multiple priorities.
- Able to use performance data to improve campaigns and content effectiveness.
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Proactive, organised and collaborative with strong commercial awareness.
