Job Description Summary
The Services Manager – Contract Performance Management is responsible for managing the execution and performance of assigned service contracts, typically associated with a customer site.The role serves as the primary interface between the customer and the project team, ensuring that contractual commitments are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with the agreed technical, operational, financial and commercial requirements. The position requires strong operational judgement, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities
Manage all contract-performance activities associated with assigned service contracts and customer sites.
Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the project team, ensuring the effective and timely exchange of information, requests and project updates.
Ensure contractual obligations, service requirements, operational commitments and performance specifications are fulfilled.
Monitor the financial, commercial, technical and operational performance of assigned contracts.
Identify and resolve contractual, operational and customer-related issues promptly, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and outcomes.
Manage contract changes, variations and claims, including supporting proposal negotiations and contract-administration activities.
Work closely with internal functions and customer stakeholders to develop practical solutions to complex operational, technical or commercial issues.
Review information from multiple internal and external sources, assess its accuracy and make well-informed recommendations and decisions.
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes and service delivery.
Stay informed of relevant industry developments and market trends that may affect contract performance or customer requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams or projects with moderate levels of risk, resource requirements or complexity.
Communicate complex or sensitive matters clearly and influence stakeholders to consider alternative solutions or courses of action.
Provide guidance and support to team members and other contract-management personnel when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management or a related discipline from a recognised university or institution, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Significant relevant experience in services, contract performance management, project management or a related function.
Demonstrated experience managing customer-facing service contracts, including contract administration, negotiations and performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of the financial, commercial, operational and technical aspects of contract execution.
Proven ability to manage complex customer and stakeholder relationships.
