The People & Culture Generalist plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Department at Four Seasons. This position provides administrative, employee relations, onboarding, recruitment, and benefits support while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate and administer onboarding, new hire orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Process and maintain employee records and HRIS transactions, including hires, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, celebrations, and team member events.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, leave plans, and workplace programs.
- Assist managers and employees by providing guidance on People & Culture policies and procedures.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to coordinate recruitment activities, job postings, candidate communications, and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with company standards and employment laws.
- Support compliance initiatives and assist with policy updates, audits, and reporting requirements.
- Prepare HR-related reports and assist with payroll documentation as needed.
- Foster positive working relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.
What You Bring
- College education preferred.
- 2-3 years of Human Resources, People & Culture, or related experience, preferably within hospitality or a service-focused organization.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with experience working in HR systems.
- Proficiency with computer applications and HR technology platforms.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, while handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
