People and Culture Manager

What you will do

• Act as an objective 3rd party in employee counseling, problem solving or conflict situation and communicate employee’s feedback to Director of People and Culture.
• Conduct transfer/promotion interviews and communicate the results with Director of People and Culture in a timely manner.
• Conduct exit interviews for resigned employees and provide feedback to the Director of People and Culture.
• To assist Director of People and Culture manage the financial issues for the P&C budget including benefits, labor cost and plan cost effective events within the P&C budget guidelines.
• Assist in researching and managing employee welfare and incentive program to maximize the Return on Investment and staying competitive in local market.
• Guide and train People and Culture team members to provide the appropriate level of professional and caring service to other employees and visitors to the division.
• Develop the skills and effectiveness of People and Culture team members through the appropriate training, coaching, and delegation in a detailed manner.
• To work with other Four Seasons Hotel regarding cross exposure of the employee which including Pre-Opening Assistance, Operational Assistance (e.g. Crunch times) or for Cross-Exposure, Task Force opportunities.
• Workday and Landa system daily maintenance and regular data validation.
• Make and update the Employee Handbook and P&P.
• Ensure the People and Culture information (P&Ps, business decisions, activities, new programs) are communicated to employee accurately and consistently.
• Stay tune with new labor law and policy and keep the entire People and Culture team informed.
• Coordinate employee relationship and assist to handle staff issue and manage employee disciplinary actions and record.
• Overall plan and organize employee activities to enrich staff working experience.

What you bring

• University degree or equivalence.
• Be of 3 year working experience at the same position in 5-star international hotel.
• Being calm and patient and be of service passion.
• Requires knowledge of the basic ability to operate computer.
• Good oral communication skill in Chinese & English.
• Basic English business writing skill.
• Good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Logic, eye for details, approachable and willing to help.
