Job Description Summary
Quality on a major infrastructure project is the foundation of operational excellence; it is the critical differentiator between a project that delivers long-term value and one that faces costly rework. As the Project Quality Manager, you are the architect of the project’s quality framework, providing end-to-end governance across the entire project lifecycle. You will operate at the intersection of complex engineering, multi-stakeholder management, and high-stakes customer accountability. You will not merely monitor output but actively shapes the quality ecosystem—ensuring that every technical specification, procurement decision, and site activity aligns with GE Vernova’s standards and our customers' requirements.
Job Description
What You'll Do
- Own End-to-End Quality Governance: Lead the implementation and monitoring of the Project Quality Plan across the full project lifecycle, ensuring all activities—from design engineering and procurement to site construction and commissioning—align with applicable codes, standards, and project deliverables.
- Lead Quality Coordination: Serve as the primary project authority, facilitating seamless communication between the customer, the consortium partners, and internal engineering/supply chain teams to manage all quality requirements, inspections, and technical documentation.
- Drive Non-Conformance & Resolution: Manage the project-wide Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process. Lead cross-functional root-cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) from inception through to final closure.
- Conduct Strategic Audits: Lead internal and external audits across the project scope—including design, procurement, and construction phases. Drive the implementation of Global and Regional Quality Initiatives to ensure consistent performance standards across all project workstreams.
- Serve as the Customer’s Quality Partner: Act as the primary point of contact for the customer regarding quality assurance. Build long-term trust by proactively addressing quality concerns, providing transparent performance reporting, and representing GE Vernova’s commitment to excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
