Sony Europe are on the lookout a dynamic HR Generalist to play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and line managers across a broad spectrum of HR functions.
In this position, you will onboard new starters, manage complex employee queries, and administer benefits, payroll processes and drive recruitment for junior level hires.
You will serve as a trusted advisor on HR matters, ensuring compliance with labour laws and Health & Safety policies, while implementing company initiatives that create a positive and engaging workplace.
This role is a key point of contact for employees and managers alike, helping to align HR practices with business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
You will:
- Execute first line HR support to employee’s lifecycle (new hires, onboarding, change of conditions, annual salary review, bonus processes) and line managers queries in accurate, consistent and compliant way.
- Assume ownership of queries raised by employees and managers, responsible for closing the queries in defined cut-off calendars (Payroll, Annual Salary and Performance reviews, Bonus).
- Identify and raise to HR Service Centre Manager process improvements proposals and any obstacles and issues preventing execution within defined SLA.
- Document learning gained from employee and manager query resolution.
- Grade 3 and below recruitment and hiring including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process for new employees.
- Address employee concerns, handling grievances, collaborate with ER and Compliance team on compliant solution, raise complex cases to ER and Compliance team.
- Provide compensation and benefits support including administering employee benefits and pension plans and assisting with payroll data inputs.
- Assist with performance evaluations, goal setting and support creation performance improvement plans.
- Training and development maintenance of Workday training portfolio, and support employee professional development initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with labour laws, implementing company policies, and maintaining and archiving employee records.
- Maintain HR information systems (Workday, HR Bot, HR SharePoint), preparing employment admin, and managing HR-related documentation.
- Provide guidance to managers on HR-related issues, employee relations, and legal compliance.
- Implement activities adhering to defined Health and Safety policy and frameworks
You will bring:
- Previous HR Generalist/Administrator/Co-ordinator experience, ideally in a multicultural and matrix organization.
- Fluent language skills in English & the country language you are based in.
- Proficiency in French is highly advantageous.
- A pro-active nature & the ability to handle & navigate complex situations.
- Comfortable working with large-scale, complex data.
- Proven track record to deliver services and meet deadlines.
- Strong prioritization, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, growing environment.
