Finance & Accounting, Senior

We are on a search for a Finance & Accounting, Senior to join our fast-growing AI company. In this role, you will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and operations. Reporting to the Finance Senior Manager, you will partner with stakeholders across the business to drive financial reporting, planning, and compliance excellence across our global entities.

What’s in it for you: 

• Support accounting and finance functions including reporting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis for entities within the Group to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Entities included – Singapore, Germany and India.
• Liaise with external accounting and payment vendors to oversee smooth accounts payable, banking and treasury functions, timely and accurate intercompany transactions, month-end closings, and financial reporting across entities.
• Liaise with external tax vendors to ensure tax filings and compliance with statutory regulations (local and international).
• Oversee expense claims and employee reimbursements, ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Assist in preparation of internal and external financial reports on a timely basis.

Review historical financial performance, conduct variance analysis, identify key trends, analyse anomalies and provide actionable insights for improvement and effective working capital management.

• Contribute to establishing and reinforcing internal controls in line with corporate governance requirements.
• Oversee accurate customer billing.
• Support annual audits for all entities, coordinating closely with external accounting vendors and external auditors.
• Assist in the preparation of board meeting materials and handle additional responsibilities as required.

You will be a great match if you have the following: 

• Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification with Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance or audit, preferably with tech startups or fast growth companies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS; familiarity with Indian and German accounting standards a plus.
• Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial consolidation.
• Experience in drafting financial statements and forecasting.
• A high degree of ownership, critical thinking, creative and innovative thinker, and deep technical knowledge.
• Accustomed to fast-paced and dynamic environments
• Understanding and usage of AI tools to drive efficiency.
• Meticulous, analytical, and solutions-oriented with strong technical acumen.
• Proven track record in process improvements and automation.
• Experience working with decentralised, cross-functional teams will be a plus.
• Proficiency in Netsuite is an added advantage.
