As a Sr. Manager, Direct-to-Patient Marketing - Content supporting the US Vision Care Lens Marketing Team, you will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of consumer-focused content that drives awareness, engagement, and conversion across the patient journey. This onsite role in Fort Worth, Texas is ideal for a leader with expertise in content marketing, brand storytelling, consumer messaging, creative development, digital content strategy, influencer content, content analytics, and AI-enabled content creation, who is passionate about delivering meaningful customer experiences through compelling and data-driven content.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Identify content needs and establish a content roadmap across the consumer journey, addressing both barriers and motivators
• Leverage category insights, consumer behavior trends, and digital marketing expertise to develop messaging and creative for direct-to-patient campaigns
• Create scalable content systems that can support multiple campaigns, audiences, and channels
• Collaborate with Brand, Channel, and Digital marketing leads to ensure clarity and consistency in consumer activations and B2B2C communications
• Deliver consumer asset packages to retail marketing leads for in-channel execution
• Manage internal and external creative agency partners to ensure timelines and budgets are met and assets meet customer and legal requirements
• Utilize AI tools as a content marketing accelerator

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English 
• Travel requirements: 15%

Preferred

• Experience in healthcare, medical device, consumer health, vision care, or another regulated industry.
• Experience supporting direct-to-consumer (DTC), direct-to-patient, consumer engagement, or customer journey marketing initiatives.
• Experience developing and executing content strategies across paid, owned, earned, social, digital, and retail partner channels.
• Demonstrated experience creating consumer-centric messaging, brand storytelling, and content frameworks that drive awareness, engagement, consideration, and conversion.
• Experience leading creative development and content production in partnership with internal creative teams, agencies, and external partners.
• Experience leveraging consumer insights, audience segmentation, social listening, and behavioral trends to inform content strategy and optimize performance.
• Experience managing creative, social, influencer, or digital agencies, including timelines, budgets, and asset development.
• Experience developing content strategies for Gen Z, Millennial, or emerging consumer audiences across digital and social platforms.
• Strong ability to translate consumer, cultural, and audience insights into compelling content experiences and actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional stakeholders and leading complex content initiatives within a fast-paced environment.
