Please review the following job description:

Provide advanced support for underwriting operations, including data analysis, document preparation, and policy processing. Ensure compliance with established underwriting guidelines while assisting underwriters in evaluating risk exposure and preparing accurate documentation to support business decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

​​• Compile and analyze underwriting data to support risk assessments. 
• Prepare and review policy documentation for accuracy and completeness. 
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure adherence to corporate underwriting standards. 
• Assist with the review of submissions to identify missing information and resolve discrepancies. 
• Maintain accurate records in underwriting systems and databases. 
• Conduct research on market, industry trends, and competitor insights as required. 
• Generate and distribute underwriting reports to stakeholders.​ 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

​​• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred. 
• 2–4 years of experience in underwriting, insurance operations, or a related support function. 
• Exposure to property and casualty insurance industry processes is advantageous.​ 

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS 

​​• No specific criteria is required.​ 

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS 

​​• Proficiency in data entry and analysis using Microsoft Excel and underwriting systems. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling complex documentation. 
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
• Basic understanding of insurance products and underwriting principles.​
