- Extra Work: $45 driver load or unload, $25 driver assist, $40 hazmat or reefer load, $25 crosstown or empty move
- Hourly Items: $23 per hour for rail delays, breakdowns, yard checks and safety meetings
- Holidays: $210 per day
- Training: $200 per day as a new hire
A Typical Shift
- Pull containers in and out of the 2 Harrisburg rail yards
- 2 to 5 loads per shift
- No New York City
- Automatic and manual day cabs, shared between shifts and parked at the Harrisburg terminal
Good to Know Up Front
- Your start time is set with your manager on the welcome call, and you must be open to any time between 4 PM and 11 PM
- Better shifts are offered by seniority as they open
- Christmas is off, while Thanksgiving and New Year's may be worked

Requirements
- Non-smoker position
- 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL
- Verifiable tractor-trailer experience: 3 months in the last 6 with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years
- Comfortable in manual and automatic trucks (unless you have an automatic restriction)
- Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire
- No careless or reckless driving, no more than 2 moving violations and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
- No DUI/DWI in 5 years, plus hair and urine drug testing
