About the Role

Pacific Smiles Group is looking for an IT Support Officer (officially a Technical Services Officer) to join our IT team at our head office in East Maitland. This is a full-time, fully onsite role — five days a week — providing hands-on technical support to our corporate teams, alongside remote support to staff across the wider business through our Jira ticketing system.

You'll be the friendly, reliable go-to person for day-to-day IT at head office, while also picking up and resolving tickets that come in from across the organisation. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys a blend of face-to-face support and structured, ticket-based troubleshooting, and who takes pride in keeping technology running smoothly for the people who rely on it.

What You'll Do

• Provide Level 1/2 technical support to corporate teams onsite at our East Maitland head office

• Manage, triage and resolve support requests through the Jira ticketing system

• Deliver remote support to staff across the business

• Set up and support workstations, devices, user accounts and access

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and end-user issues

• Collaborate with the wider IT team to resolve issues quickly and professionally

• Maintain clear, accurate records of issues and resolutions within the ticketing system

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of IT support experience (Level 1/2)

• Experience working with a ticketing system (Jira or similar)

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

• A customer-first approach, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff

• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team

• A proactive, professional attitude
