Job Description

As a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol Driver in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while responding to security-related needs. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain required documentation, and report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Support a professional, welcoming environment while assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals, as necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
