Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Monitoring in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, technology areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
