Job Summary
The Procurement Manager will support US sourcing operations within the Sourcing CoE tactical execution team and manage sourcing engagements based on risk and cost. The role will oversee procurement reporting, tracking, governance, pipeline monitoring, and leadership reporting to highlight progress, risks, and opportunities. While working closely with US Category Strategists, the manager will ensure sourcing requests are delivered efficiently and on time. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Procurement in India and operate under the US Source to Settle Office. The Manager will support enterprise policies, audit requirements, and trade regulations, and collaborate with US stakeholders to align purchasing and sourcing strategies. This role will require experience in US procurement operations, supplier negotiations, cross-border logistics, and market dynamics. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and flexibility to work across US time zones are essential.
- Lead Coupa intake management and low-risk sourcing engagements based on cost and risk criteria. Support contract reviews and negotiations under sourcing leadership while serving as a tactical execution partner for US category strategists on engagements up to $50K. Drive procurement team capability in contract negotiations and ensure consistent use of approved templates and AI tools. - (20%)
- Manage daily COE Procurement operations while supervising, mentoring, and motivating the India CoE sourcing team to ensure SLA compliance, service quality, and continuous improvement. Develop and implement approved training programs on US sourcing best practices and partner with leadership to identify and execute process improvement initiatives. - (20%)
- Manage end-to-end RFP activities in line with policy, including coordination, bid evaluation, documentation, and SLA tracking under the guidance of US Category Strategists. Monitor progress and metrics, provide leadership reporting, support sourcing requests, and assist with negotiation preparation, commercial analysis, and post-RFP evaluations. - (20%)
- Collaborate with Sourcing and Program Management to manage reporting and savings tracking. Maintain sourcing trackers, monitor RFP status, SLA performance, and cycle times, provide pipeline insights to leadership, and ensure data accuracy and documentation. - (10%)
- Partner with Leadership, Category Strategists, and business stakeholders to align requirements, priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Serve as a key link between India sourcing and US category teams and drive effective communication, collaboration, and a unified one-team approach. - (10%)
- Support and standardize S2S execution processes for agreed upon COE support procedures including RFP, Contracts Management Notification, Procure to Pay and Intake management processes. Identify opportunities for process improvement, cycle time reduction, and operational efficiency in sourcing activities. - (5%)
- Sourcing Strategy Support - The Procurement Manager will provide support in executing category strategies defined by US Category Strategists, ensuring alignment with business needs. They will also contribute insights from RFP outcomes and supplier interactions to enhance sourcing strategies and decision-making. - (10%)
- Track contract milestones and expirations for lower-value, lower-complexity engagements, support stakeholders with renewal, renegotiation, or closure decisions, and manage contract expiration notifications based on internal requirements, dollar thresholds, and category classifications. - (5%)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
- 8-10 years of professional work experience in related field.
- 5-8 years of experience managing stakeholder relationships internationally, particularly with US partners.
