A telecom and technology company is seeking a strategic HR partner and transformation leader responsible for building and scaling people, culture, and administrative systems to support the organization’s transition into a growth-driven organization. This role will focus on culture transformation, addressing structural inefficiencies, strengthening accountability, and aligning talent with business growth, while stabilizing operations and embedding a high-performance culture.
Key Strategic Objectives
- Translate vision and values into behaviours, lead change, and address gaps in accountability, productivity, and discipline.
- Build scalable HR infrastructure, including policies, SOPs, and reporting systems, while addressing reporting and documentation gaps and standardizing operations.
- Ensure the right talent is placed in the right roles, reduce time-to-hire, and build strong talent pipelines aligned with organizational growth.
- Implement KPIs, performance appraisals, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) to address low productivity and strengthen accountability.
- Improve employee satisfaction, reduce turnover, and strengthen internal communication.
- Ensure full adherence to Ghana Labour Laws and applicable regulatory requirements, including those of the NCA, Data Protection Commission, and Registrar-General’s Department.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and update the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and ethical standards.
- Optimize recruitment processes, reduce time-to-hire by 15%, maintain talent pipelines, complete onboarding within three days, and establish competency frameworks.
- Implement performance appraisal systems, achieve 100% completion of reviews, track KPIs, manage PIPs, and conduct exit interviews.
- Resolve employee issues within 48 hours, implement engagement initiatives at least twice per quarter, and strengthen internal communication.
- Develop and implement annual training plans and leadership development programmes, achieving at least 15% measurable learning impact.
- Ensure efficient office operations, prevent stockouts, facilitate timely expense processing, and reduce administrative costs by 10%.
- Manage leave and employee benefits accurately, with processing completed within 24 hours where applicable, while continuously optimizing benefits programmes.
- Monitor turnover, attendance, productivity, and engagement, and provide monthly and quarterly HR reports and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as CIPD or SHRM is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, preferably within a technology, customer experience, or high-growth environment.
- Proven expertise in organizational transformation, performance management systems, and HR process design.
