- Serve as the first line of support for employees with HR-related questions, concerns, or support needs, providing excellent customer service to strengthen our People-First commitment. Respond to employee outreach or changes, understanding the full scope of impact and bringing in additional resources as needed to maintain a positive employee experience.
- Own our internal communications process, ensuring Navigators receive timely, relevant information that engages them in the Navigate program, our benefits, and workplace initiatives to support our Great Place to Work culture.
- Manage and build out our Learning Management System and training library. Work with leaders across the organization to identify onboarding, HR policy/procedure, and other training needs. Maintain relevant trainings, assist with training creation, assignment, and data management, and own all aspects of the Learning Management System to help fuel our growth and performance.
- Assist with processing semi-monthly payroll, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date and completing all checks to minimize errors.
- Be knowledgeable on the benefit offerings at Navigate to answer employee questions, check benefit bills, interface with carrier and broker representatives, and ensure we are offering the right benefits to maximize our employee experience.
- Lead the employee survey and recognition processes, working to maximize participation and engagement and gather data-backed insights to help improve the employee experience and Navigate culture.
- Partner with all employee committees, taking an active role in furthering committee initiatives to drive meaningful employee engagement and make a positive impact on the employee experience and health and wellbeing of our employees.
- Responsible for the oversight and administrative work associated with each process and system in the employment life cycle including the following:
- Orientation, onboarding, training, and development (In conjunction with the training team)
- HR compliance
- Reporting and workforce analysis
- Process improvement and automation
- Culture and engagement
- Offboarding, promotions and retirements
- Leave administration
- Lead recruitment efforts, including posting positions, conducting screen interviews, guiding managers through the hiring process, and creating/issuing offers, ensuring there is proper documentation throughout for a fair and equitable hiring process to recruit top talent to Navigate.
- Maintain employee file and recordkeeping compliance in our UKG and SharePoint systems.
- Work closely with the Director of People and Culture to identify process, compliance, performance, workforce planning, coaching, and training needs throughout the organization to help our People & Culture team continuously evolve to best support our organization and employees.
- Assist with the prompt and thorough investigation of employee claims, providing detailed, impartial, and fair summaries with conclusive recommendations to leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong background in human resources, employee engagement, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
- Experience creating and contributing to a Great Place to Work and People-First Culture.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in UKG Ready as an administrator is a plus.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience supporting a multi-state workforce.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- HR Certification is a plus
- Standard office work environment. Minimum ability to lift push and pull 10lbs.
- Normal mental and visual attention is required. Normal office working conditions requiring continuous use of both hands. Sitting most of the time, may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
- Position requires occasional bending, squatting, twisting and climbing stairs. There are minimal exposures to workplace hazards.
