Compensation Range

The base pay scale for this position is $22.53 - $34.27. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

What you will be doing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting opportunities are available for a research assistant position in Dr. Park-Min's research
laboratory at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College in New
York City. The research assistant will engage in basic/translational biomedical research projects
focused on bone biology/inflammation (osteoimmunology), related to osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteolysis.

These positions offer relevant training and experience for students planning to apply
to graduate school, medical school, or M.D.-Ph.D programs. Positions are available in
January 2026, and a two-year commitment is preferred.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or Molecular and Cell Biology.
- Strong commitment to research work
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and training.
- Must be consistent in research, self-motivated and able to work independently and
as part of a team.
