  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate effectively across Operations, Maintenance, SUIT, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering teams.

  • Drive standardisation, continuous improvement, EEM Pillar (early equipment management) and Ice cream Manufacturing System (ICMS) practices.

  • Analyse manufacturing, asset, and supply chain data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.

  • Improve plant reliability, asset performance, capacity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

  • Support sustainability initiatives, including energy, waste, water, and carbon reduction in project design itself.

  • Lead supplier, contractor, and stakeholder engagement, including technical negotiations.

  • Oversee FATs, SAT, commissioning, validation, and successful handover of new assets and systems.

  • Promote asset care plans, lifecycle management, and engineering best practices across the site.

We're looking for someone who

  • Has experience in capital project management and manufacturing operations (5+ years) and can operate confidently in FMCG and industrial manufacturing environments with a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

  • Brings strong skills in

  • Project delivery and capital project management, including leading projects from concept design and business case development through to commissioning, handover, and operational integration.

  • Manufacturing, utilities, automation, and asset management, with the ability to optimise production performance, reliability, maintenance strategies, and engineering systems.

  • Financial management and business case development, including budgeting, cost control, capital planning, forecasting, cost optimisation, and investment evaluation.

  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing, with proven ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with senior leaders, operational teams, suppliers, contractors, and external partners.

  • Continuous improvement and operational excellence, applying Lean Manufacturing, TPM, IMS, and data-driven methodologies to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, and business performance.

  • Risk management, safety, and compliance, ensuring adherence to GMP, food safety, quality, engineering, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a strong safety culture.

  • Leadership and cross-functional team management, successfully coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver outcomes, manage competing priorities, and achieve project and operational objectives.

  • Analytical problem-solving and decision-making, leveraging operational data and business insights to identify opportunities, resolve complex challenges, and drive sustainable improvements.

  • Strategic planning and performance improvement, with a focus on long-term asset value, sustainability, operational effectiveness, and organisational growth.

  • Communication, presentation, and negotiation, effectively conveying technical and commercial information to diverse audiences and securing stakeholder alignment on key initiatives.

  • Thinks end-to-end and takes ownerships for results

  • Is comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving organisation
