Title and Summary
Analyst, Billing OperationsOverview:The Revenue Operations & Enablement department provides centralized billing for products and services billed to customers using the MasterCard Consolidated Billing System (MCBS). MCBS supports the billing for all MasterCard branded transactions, Cirrus/Maestro switch fees, assessment fees, and various other fees.
Our mission is to provide core billing services, drive billing assurance, provide value added services and enable growth as MasterCard advances commerce globally
Role:
• Research and respond to helpdesk inquiries within the SLA
• Analyzes billing data, researches trends and identifies issues; follow up on resolutions
• Identify opportunities for process optimization within area of responsibility; coordinates with leadership to implement improvements
• Maintains desktop procedures and adheres to controls around revenue and collections
Education (preferred):
-Basic college education or equivalent work experience with emphasis in business or information technology.
Knowledge / Experience (preferred):
-Basic knowledge of data processing concepts and financial industry/banking operations practices.
-Previous experience with relational databases.
Skills / Abilities:
-Effective problem/troubleshooting skills.
-Effective written and verbal communication skills.
-Excellent organization skills.
-Excellent interpersonal skills.
-Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Access
