The opportunity
As an IT Delivery Manager within the Business Solution Team (BST) Service, you will lead the delivery of Service BST projects and transformation programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. You will drive business value realization, translate strategy into executable digital initiatives, and serve as the key delivery partner between IT and Service Business Unit leadership.
How you will make an impact
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA specialists, and external suppliers. Collaborate closely with Global Business Process Owners (GBPOs), and transformation leaders.
- Drive project and program delivery aligned with business priorities, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Establish and manage delivery governance, reporting frameworks, and steering committees. Lead demand management, portfolio review, and prioritization activities.
- Monitor project health, risks, dependencies, resource allocation, and budget performance.
- Assess resource and competency requirements and ensure effective staffing. Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Coordinate with Application Service Delivery and Operations teams to ensure smooth handover of implemented solutions.
- Eliminate duplication of initiatives and maximize reuse of enterprise capabilities and platforms.
- Support program manager in evaluating supplier offers and recommending right way forward.
- Recommend improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team.
- Review supplier deliverables, evaluate solution effectiveness, and provide recommendations to support business objectives.
Your background
- 12+ years of experience in IT delivery, including leading global programs with budgets above €3–5M.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce, integration platforms (MuleSoft, APIs), ServiceNow, Data & Analytics, and Agile delivery methodologies.
- Proven experience managing distributed teams and third-party service providers across multiple regions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence business leaders and process owners.
- Demonstrated success in delivering business transformation programs, including ERP transformations, template rollouts, or post-merger harmonization initiatives.
- Solid understanding of service domain processes, including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Field Service Management (FSM), and Asset Performance Management (APM).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, facilitation, and decision-making skills, with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
- Strong expertise in risk management, integration best practices, and driving collaboration across business, infrastructure, and development teams.
