Description
Location: Midlands (Staffordshire) – with travel across local branches
Salary: Circa £35,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours)
- Develop and deliver the organisation’s training and development strategy
- Oversee induction, mandatory, and specialist training programmes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including CQC requirements
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready training records and systems
- Identify workforce development needs and support continuous learning
- Coach and mentor a team of 3 trainers to improve performance and delivery
- Work closely with operational teams to align training with service needs
- Manage training schedules, systems, and documentation
- Support delivery of training across multiple local branches (typically 2–3 per week)
- Experience in training or learning & development within health and social care
- Strong knowledge of mandatory training and CQC/regulatory standards
- Ability to design and deliver effective training programmes
- Experience using or managing e-learning/LMS systems (desirable)
- Training/teaching qualification such as PTLLS, AET or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience analysing training and compliance data and producing reports
- Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between nearby branches
