Role summary:The Senior Software Engineer will lead the delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while integrating AI and machine learning components. The position requires strong technical judgment, continuous improvement, and effective communication with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable solutions. The engineer will support lifecycle execution, promote engineering excellence, and contribute to innovation, mentoring, and system reliability to drive high-quality outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
About the team:
The team drives modernization within the SAMs Replenishment area by delivering scalable, maintainable software solutions through collaborative engineering and a product-focused approach. Emphasizing iterative development, rigorous code review, and continuous integration, members apply strong technical skills in platform design and development. The group integrates advanced technologies, including generative AI, to enhance system performance. Team members work closely with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery. This environment fosters continuous learning, technical excellence, and proactive problem-solving to meet evolving business needs efficiently and reliably.
What you'll do:
- Lead delivery of scoped features and components through collaborative engineering teams, ensuring alignment with platform and business objectives.
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, efficient code across multiple programming languages, supporting full software development lifecycle and CI/CD processes.
- Integrate AI/ML components and leverage generative AI tools to enhance software capabilities and development efficiency.
- Participate in solution design, conduct code reviews, and apply best practices for scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and define success metrics.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.
What you'll bring:
- Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
- Strong experience delivering scoped features and managing full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
- Proficiency in debugging, code review, and continuous development methodologies.
- Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with platform and business objectives.
- Experience integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to engage stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
