The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$85,100.00 - $127,700.00
Purpose Statement: The Training Manager will lead and coordinate the development and execution of effective technical training programs. This role is focused on equipping employees with the essential skills and knowledge necessary for success within the organization by striving to create a dynamic learning environment, ensuring that training initiatives align with the business objectives and contribute to the overall professional growth of the team.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Establish and implement performance expectations and productivity standards for training supervisors, in-line trainers, and training specialists.
- Oversee standard work governance across sites, including training team structure and development, training matrix management, and compliance to training standard operating practices.
- Lead the identification and propagation of best practices, sharing across regions and acting as an escalation point for site training teams.
- Direct research and review of training program content, partnering with functional manager, employees, and subject matter experts to create core and custom technical programs.
- Develop and manage training resources, work closely with functional experts or subject matter experts to continuously expand training resources and deploy it across various sites and regions.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
- A combination of education, experience, and time in field will be taken into consideration, and internal candidates may have distinct requirements tailored to their demonstrated skills and contributions within the organization.
Other Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the development and delivery of training programs.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities with effective organizational and time management skills; the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strong cross-regional collaboration, consensus-building and problem solving skills.
- Training development and facilitation experience is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to focus and clarify concepts.
- Excellent listening skills and expertise in group facilitation.
- Technical understanding of the learning management system and authoring tools.
- General office equipment and materials.
Physical Requirements:
- Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.
