*6 Month+ Contract* OpenShift Engineer with Ansible - 50% Home Office - Zürich

We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our OpenShift environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.

## Tasks

• **OpenShift Management:** Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
• **Automation with Ansible:** Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
• **Performance Optimization:** Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
• **Collaboration:** Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
• **Documentation:** Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• **Security Compliance:** Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.

## Requirements

• **Experience:** Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
• **Ansible Proficiency:** Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
• **Containerization:** Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• **Linux Expertise:** Proficient in Linux system administration.
• **Cloud Technologies:** Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
• **Problem-Solving:** Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• **Language:** Fluency in German is mandatory.
