Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced OpenShift Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month extendable contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, configuring, and optimizing our OpenShift environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our containerized applications.
## Tasks
- **OpenShift Management:** Install, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters in production and development environments.
- **Automation with Ansible:** Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for automated deployments, configurations, and management tasks.
- **Performance Optimization:** Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift clusters, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose and resolve issues related to OpenShift infrastructure and application deployments.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with development, operations, and DevOps teams to integrate OpenShift solutions that meet business needs.
- **Documentation:** Create and maintain detailed documentation for OpenShift configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- **Security Compliance:** Implement and maintain security best practices within OpenShift environments.
## Requirements
- **Experience:** Proven experience in managing and supporting OpenShift environments.
- **Ansible Proficiency:** Strong knowledge of Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks.
- **Containerization:** Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- **Linux Expertise:** Proficient in Linux system administration.
- **Cloud Technologies:** Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid cloud environments.
- **Problem-Solving:** Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- **Language:** Fluency in German is mandatory.
