Medsien is a venture-backed healthcare SaaS company experiencing rapid growth and looking to expand our team. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about building and improving products with a high impact on patients, who will join a growing team in developing the products that enable providers to provide high-quality services to their patients.

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer with a strong background in both user research and interface design, with a passion for data-driven and user-centric design. The ideal candidate should have a strong design process knowledge and be able to effectively validate their designs through user testing and other methods. They will be responsible for conducting user research, analyzing data, and using that information to inform and validate their creative process to continually improve the design of our web and mobile products.

As a UI/UX Designer, you will:

• Conduct user research through surveys, focus groups, and other methods to gather insights into user needs and behaviors
• Analyze data to identify patterns and trends that inform design decisions
• Use data and user research to inform the design of user interfaces, ensuring that designs are both user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing,
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to ensure that designs meet the needs of both users and the business,
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for product designs,
• Test and validate designs through user testing and other methods,
• Continuously monitor and improve the design of our products based on user feedback and usage data,
• Provide recommendations for additional data and telemetry to collect to better understand user behavior, and drive future experimentation,
• Meet project deadlines and contribute to the timely delivery of design projects,
• Continuously learn and adapt to industry trends and technologies, acquiring new skills when necessary,
• Collaborate in brainstorming sessions and contributing innovative design ideas,
• Communicate effectively, share design ideas and updates with the team, and being readily available for any design-related discussions,
• Be able to work independently and able to solve problems with minimal oversight.

Please apply if you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, Math, CS, Design or a degree or equivalent experience in a related field,
• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX design,
• Strong background in both user research and interface design,
• Interest in the full product life cycle from low fidelity wireframe to implementation and analytics,
• Experience working on an agile team and familiarity with agile methodologies in a product driven organization,
• Experience conducting user research, analyzing data, and using that information to inform design decisions,
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar,
• Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript,
• Good understanding of visual design principles,
• Experience with UX for web and mobile applications,
• Portfolio showcasing previous design work, web design projects, and an understanding of design process,
• Time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines,
• A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders,
• Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to convey design ideas effectively,
• A creative and driven personality, and willingness to navigate through ambiguity with ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment,
• Strong attention to detail,
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills,
• Passion for creating intuitive and user-centered designs,
• Strong soft skills (e.g. active listening, organization, planning, clear communication, not being afraid to disrupt things that need to be disrupted),
• A naturally curious personality that is open to new approaches/ ideas and eager to learn and stretch his/her boundaries,
• Perfect English skills; both written and oral,
• Residence in İstanbul city center.

• Due to in-person collaboration requirements, candidates based in Istanbul are preferred.
