Job Description

- Run due diligence on agents, subcontractors and other third parties, and maintain the gifts, hospitality and conflicts-of-interest registers.
- Screen clients, counterparties, vessels and cargoes against UN, EU, UK, US and applicable local sanctions lists and advise operations on whether a job can proceed.
- Support impartiality and accreditation requirements under ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17025 and the TIC Council Compliance Code.
- Investigate whistleblowing reports and compliance incidents, run the annual monitoring plan and prepare the quarterly compliance report.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law, business, finance or a related field; a compliance qualification (ICA, CCEP-I, CAMS or CIPP/E) is preferred.
- 3–6 years in corporate compliance, legal, internal audit or risk, with hands-on anti-bribery, sanctions or data-protection work.
- Experience working across more than one jurisdiction.
- Working knowledge of the UK Bribery Act and FCPA, EU/UK/US sanctions, GDPR and local data-protection laws; a background in TIC, commodities, shipping or oil and gas is an advantage.
- Fluent English, with additional regional languages an advantage; willing and able to travel as required.
