What the Litigation & Employment Paralegal does at Worldwide

Worldwide Clinical Trials is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation & Employment Paralegal to support the Company's global employment law function. Reporting directly to the Senior Employment Legal Counsel, this position will play a critical role in managing employment litigation, e-discovery, legal holds, employment-related M&A, expansion and integration support activities, and generalized legal support for the People Strategy & Culture (PSC) organization. 

The successful candidate will serve as the operational backbone of the employment legal function, helping manage time-sensitive projects spanning multiple jurisdictions while ensuring matters remain organized, documented, and on schedule. 

This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, sound judgment in handling confidential information, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders and external counsel across multiple countries. 

What you will do

Employment Litigation Support 

• Maintain employment litigation trackers. 

• Coordinate litigation holds and preservation activities. 

• Maintain custodian lists and legal hold documentation. 

• Support eDiscovery and information governance initiatives. 

• Manage matter files, deadlines, and litigation-related documentation. 

• Assist with document collection, organization, and production. 

• Coordinate communications and information requests with outside counsel. 

• Support mediation, arbitration, litigation, and settlement administration. 

Employment and PSC Support 

• Coordinate review of global PSC and legal templates by local counsel.   

• Maintain severance and investigation trackers, if applicable. 

• Organize and maintain employment law precedent materials and template libraries. 

• Assist with policy implementation and template review initiatives. 

• Assist with HR Compliance initiatives. 

M&A and Integration Support 

• Support employment-related due diligence activities. 

• Support integration project plans, issue logs, and action trackers. 

• Coordinate document requests and information gathering. 

• Support employee transfer and harmonization projects related to acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. 

• Assist with employment integration efforts across multiple jurisdictions. 

Legal Operations and Project Management 

• Maintain trackers, reporting dashboards, and project plans. 

• Monitor deadlines and follow-up items. 

• Coordinate meetings and action items across stakeholders. 

• Track outside counsel engagements and legal spend information.

Your experience

• Bachelor's degree. 

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supporting employment/HR law and litigation  

• Exceptional organizational and project-management skills. 

• Fluency in English. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 

• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. 

• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. 

Preferred 

• Paralegal certificate 

• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, or integration projects. 

• Experience working in a multinational or global organization.

The salary range for this position is annually (For hourly paid positions, the stated salary range reflects hourly rates):

United States of America - $54,500.00 - $108,500.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws. Salary information will be discussed during the interview process, and we encourage candidates to inquire about compensation at any stage.
