Description
Position Summary...
The Manager, Seller Growth Solutions will own the strategy to engage, activate, and grow the broader Marketplace seller base through foundational, programmatic, and scalable solutions. The role will use seller insights, performance data, and targeted engagement to identify growth opportunities, influence seller behavior, drive adoption of priority capabilities, and help sellers unlock greater growth on the platform.
What you'll do...
This role focuses on accelerating the growth and success of the broader Marketplace seller base through scalable, data-driven solutions. The Manager will develop approaches that help sellers understand where to focus, take actions that improve their performance, and make better use of the tools, programs, and capabilities available to them. The Manager will identify seller performance gaps and growth opportunities, determine the actions and capabilities most likely to improve outcomes, and develop targeted activation strategies that move sellers from awareness to action.
A core responsibility will be building a structured approach to seller enablement and activation. The role will segment sellers based on needs and opportunity, develop clear recommendations and next-best actions, and partner with Go-to-Market, Marketing, Product, Account Management, and other teams to deliver targeted campaigns and interventions. The Manager will continuously evaluate engagement, adoption, and business impact to understand what is working, identify where sellers are dropping off, and refine activation strategies accordingly.
The role will help sellers navigate and adopt the capabilities that matter most to their growth, including solutions related to assortment, content quality, pricing, fulfillment and shipping, promotions, seller experience, and other Marketplace growth levers. Rather than treating adoption as an awareness exercise, the role will focus on moving sellers through the full adoption journey, from eligibility and awareness through engagement, action, retention, and measurable performance improvement.
The Manager will also identify opportunities where guidance alone is not enough. Working with internal teams and solution partners, the role will explore targeted interventions that remove friction and help high-potential sellers complete actions that accelerate their progress. This may include testing new enablement models, piloting scalable seller services, and using learnings from seller engagement to improve future solutions and experiences.
Seller insight will be an important input into this work. The Manager will partner closely with Voice of Seller teams to leverage existing seller research, intelligence, journey insights, and feedback mechanisms to understand seller needs and barriers. The role will translate those insights into growth opportunities and activation strategies, while sharing learnings from local seller engagement back with Voice of Seller, Product, and other partners to help inform broader Marketplace priorities.
The role will also support the successful introduction and adoption of new seller-facing products, programs, and capabilities. Partnering with Go-to-Market and functional owners, the Manager will help define target seller cohorts, seller value propositions, activation plans, success measures, and post-launch adoption strategies to ensure priority solutions translate into seller action and business impact.
Strong analytical and performance-management skills will be essential. The Manager will use seller and business data to identify opportunities, develop hypotheses, measure activation funnels, and assess impact across engagement, adoption, seller performance, satisfaction, and GMV. Insights will be translated into clear recommendations, leadership updates, and priorities for continued optimization.
The successful candidate will be a highly collaborative, growth-oriented operator who combines strategic thinking with strong execution. They will be comfortable working across multiple teams, influencing without direct authority, testing and learning quickly, and turning complex seller needs into simple, scalable solutions that improve the seller experience and drive Marketplace growth.
