About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as a trusted analytical partner to business stakeholders. This role owns core planning and reporting cycles, forecasting, budgeting, month-end close support, and variance analysis. The role is also responsible for producing the insight that shapes resource decisions. You'll work independently on complex analyses and translate financial data into clear recommendations for non-finance audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Own the monthly and quarterly forecasting process for assigned business areas, including OpEx and CapEx, and headcount modeling
Identify and implement AI-driven efficiencies in financial workflows, utilizing Claude AI to automate repetitive spreadsheet tasks, streamline forecast aggregation, and accelerate variance analysis
Lead the annual budget cycle for your portfolio: build bottoms-up plans, partner with department owners, and reconcile to top-down targets
Deliver month-end variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), identify drivers, and flag risks and opportunities to leadership
Build and maintain financial models supporting business cases, scenario planning, and investment decisions
Partner with Accounting on close activities including accruals, reclasses, and account reconciliations
Develop recurring management reporting and dashboards; improve the accuracy, automation, and cycle time of existing processes
Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership and business partners in clear, decision-ready terms
Support ad hoc analyses for executive leadership, including board and investor reporting inputs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field
3–6 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or public accounting
Advanced Excel skills: complex modeling, large data sets, sensitivity and scenario analysis
Working knowledge of financial statements and how the three statements connect
Experience with an ERP and a planning tool (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, Pigment)
Proven experience or strong focus on using AI-augmented productivity tools (Claude, Gemini, or specialized AI extensions) to optimize financial data analysis, modeling, or reporting workflows
Strong written and verbal communication; able to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities against tight close and planning deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, CPA, or CFA (or progress toward)
An AI-forward mindset, characterized by an openness to experimentation, continuous learning, and adapting to rapidly evolving, AI-augmented corporate environments
SQL or experience querying data warehouses; familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
Experience in [industry — e.g., media, technology, advertising]
Track record of automating or redesigning a recurring finance process

The compensation for this position ranges from $72,750.00 - $151,250.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
