Role Overview

The Digital Learning & Development Coordinator will support the effective operation of the firm's global Digital L&D function. The role will coordinate team operations and learning and development programs while supporting the functional administration, adoption and continuous improvement of Workday Learning, including the learning and development experience powered by Sana, and the wider digital learning and development ecosystem.

Working closely with colleagues across HLC Lead & Learn, HR systems, technology teams, program owners and external providers, the role will help ensure that learning and development programs, content, enrolments, communications, learner records, reporting and support processes operate accurately and consistently.

Learning and development operations and team coordination

• Coordinate Digital L&D activity, maintaining clear plans, schedules, actions, risks and dependencies.
• Support the end-to-end administration of digital and blended learning and development programs, including scheduling, enrolments, communications, attendance, materials, evaluations and follow-up.
• Maintain team documentation, standard operating procedures, calendars, trackers and shared resources.
• Coordinate meetings, program reviews and vendor activity, ensuring agreed actions are recorded and progressed.
• Respond to queries from learners, managers, program teams and other stakeholders, providing a professional and helpful service.
• Support financial administration, including purchase-order, invoice, budget-tracking and vendor documentation processes, where required.

Workday Learning powered by Sana and learning technologies

• Support the day-to-day functional administration of Workday Learning and associated learning and development technologies.
• Set up and maintain courses, programs, offerings, curricula, learning pathways, enrolments, assignments, assessments, notifications and learning records.
• Support Sana-enabled authoring and learner experiences, working with content owners and subject-matter experts to publish and maintain high-quality learning.
• Maintain accurate catalogues, metadata, permissions, audience rules and content lifecycle information.
• Undertake user and content testing, document issues and coordinate resolution with HR systems, technology teams and vendors.
• Help maintain data quality, governance, accessibility and agreed quality standards across digital learning platforms.
• Produce clear guidance and communications to help colleagues use new learning systems and processes confidently.
• Monitor platform updates and support the assessment, testing and controlled introduction of relevant functionality.

Reporting and continuous improvement

• Produce regular operational reports covering participation, completion, learner activity, program delivery, platform use and service performance.
• Check data quality and identify gaps, inconsistencies or recurring operational issues.
• Support dashboards and evidence gathering for platform adoption, learning-library use, program effectiveness and investment reviews.
• Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders and translate recurring themes into practical service improvements.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise or automate administrative processes.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the learner and administrator experience.

Skills & Experience

No specific professional qualification is required. Relevant professional qualifications in learning, organisational development, change, digital or technology would be advantageous.

Essential

• Experience in learning and development operations, learning and development administration, program coordination or a comparable operations role.
• Experience using a learning and development management system or another enterprise platform to maintain records, content, workflows or user activity.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate several priorities accurately.
• High attention to detail, particularly when working with learning and development records, reports, schedules and system configuration.
• Confidence working with digital systems and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A service-focused approach and the ability to support users with differing levels of digital confidence.
• Sound judgement, initiative and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate with learning and development professionals, system teams, vendors and stakeholders across different locations.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

Desirable

• Experience administering Workday Learning or a comparable enterprise LMS.
• Experience with Sana, AI-enabled learning and development platforms or digital content-authoring tools.
• Experience of system implementation, migration, user-acceptance testing or process change.
• Experience producing learning and development or operational dashboards and analysing user or program data.
• Familiarity with digital accessibility, data protection, learning and development -content standards or quality-assurance processes.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed, professional-services or regulated environment.
