The Precision Landing Product Directorate within Collins Aerospace Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead multiple programs across the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration & Coordination System (ATNAVICS) portfolio. In this role, you will be accountable for cost, schedule, and technical execution, ensuring delivery excellence and strengthening customer relationships.

We are looking for an execution-focused leader with strong program management expertise, the ability to operate autonomously, and the executive presence needed to lead complex cross-functional teams. You will foster a culture of accountability, exemplify RTX leadership behaviors, and drive follow-on business aligned with the ATNAVICS Annual Operating Plan (AOP). ATNAVICS is entering an exciting growth phase with emerging capabilities and opportunities for professional development.

This is an Onsite position which can sit at either our Marlborough, MA, Sterling, VA, or Aberdeen MD locations. Relocation is not provided.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead full lifecycle program management—from pursuit and capture through development, production, delivery, sustainment, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Chair the cross-functional Program Management Team (PMT), ensuring effective contract management and performance across cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
  • Serve as the primary customer interface, addressing needs, resolving concerns, and driving upgrades and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely technical execution across this system-of-systems portfolio.
  • Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for an assigned value stream or portfolio generating $10M+ in annual sales.
  • Ensure effective risk mitigation, adherence to company policies, and alignment with broader strategic goals.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the military or aerospace/defense industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Demonstrated experience managing full lifecycle programs from capture through closeout.
  • Ability to establish and sustain positive customer relationships.
  • Proficiency with program management tools and processes including EVMS, IMP/IMS, and risk/opportunity management.
  • Experience managing multiple contract types (CPIF, CPFF, FFP, DCS, FMS).
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience working on radar or Air Traffic Control (ATC) programs across design, development, or production phases, including mobile ATC systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with USMC and USAF customers.
  • Earned Value or Program Management certifications.
  • Subcontractor management experience in support of technical development activities.
  • Degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
  • Tier 5 Raytheon Program Management Certification (or equivalent) or ability to complete it within 12 months.
  • Capture Management certification
