Relationship Manager Lead, HR Delivery - Senior Vice President

The Senior Vice President – Relationship Manager Lead is the executive accountable for driving strategic alignment between HR Delivery and senior HR stakeholders. The role serves as the primary relationship owner for designated businesses, functions, or geographies, ensuring HR delivery solutions effectively support business objectives, workforce priorities, and employee experience outcomes.

As a trusted advisor, the incumbent leads a team of Relationship Managers and provides executive oversight of service delivery performance, stakeholder engagement, governance, risk management, and transformation initiatives. The role influences decisions across local, regional, and global HR forums and acts as a catalyst for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Stakeholder Leadership

• Build and maintain trusted executive relationships with senior HR leaders and HRBP leadership

• Serve as the advisor representing HR Delivery on discussions with stakeholders on operational challenges.

• Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively drive solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.

• Represent HR Delivery in executive, regional, and global leadership forums within their coverage.

Relationship Management Leadership

• Lead and develop a team of Relationship Managers supporting multiple businesses, functions, or countries.

• Establish stakeholder engagement strategies and service governance frameworks.

• Ensure consistent execution of relationship management practices across the team.

• Drive accountability and service excellence across HR Delivery organizations.

Strategic HR Delivery Oversight

• Ensure alignment on delivery outcomes with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and enterprise HR objectives.

• Champion employee-centric solutions and continuously improve service effectiveness.

• Act as escalation sponsor for high-impact, sensitive, or enterprise-wide HR delivery issues for Senior HR stakeholders within their coverage.

Governance, Risk, and Controls

• Participate in HR service reviews, business reviews, and stakeholder performance discussions related to their covered stakeholder’s population.

• Identify delivery risks, control gaps, or process failures and partner with HR teams to remediate.

• Ensure adherence to policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement

• Support large-scale HR initiatives, transformations, and change programs affecting HR Delivery and covered country or business/function

• Drive innovation utilizing data, analytics, benchmarking, and stakeholder feedback. Provide

• Share and discuss the consolidated HR delivery insights, dashboards, and executive-level updates for HR leadership covered.

• Ensure consistent, transparent communication between HR Delivery teams and Senior HR Leadership managed.

• Participate in organizational change efforts impacting HR service delivery and stakeholder experience.

Talent and Leadership

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to Relationship Managers and other HR Delivery leaders.

• Build organizational capability and succession pipelines.

• Foster a culture of accountability, partnership, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.

• Drive employee engagement and leadership effectiveness within the team.

Qualifications:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or related discipline.

• Master's Degree preferred.

Experience

• 12–15+ years of progressive HR leadership, HR Business Partnering, HR Operations, Shared Services, Employee Experience, or HR Transformation experience.

• Proven experience leading senior stakeholder relationships in large, complex, and matrixed organizations.

• Experience leading multiple teams, functions, or geographically dispersed operations.

• Strong experience managing executive-level escalations and influencing strategic outcomes.
