The Key Purpose of this role is to support the administration of construction and engineering contracts by assisting with contract compliance, document management, variations, claims administration, and commercial reporting while developing practical experience in contract and project management within a project execution environment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist with the administration of construction and engineering contracts throughout project execution
Support the monitoring of contractual obligations, notice requirements, and contract compliance
Prepare and maintain contract correspondence, records, and filing systems
Assist with the tracking and administration of variations and change orders
Support the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and contractual notifications
Assist with the compilation and administration of contractor claims and supporting documentation
Maintain variation, claims, and risk registers
Support project teams with contract management activities and document control requirements
Assist with commercial reporting and contract-related data analysis
Ensure accurate record-keeping and document management for contractual matters
Minimum Requirnments:
Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Law, or a related discipline
0 to 3 years' experience in a contract administration, commercial, project controls, quantity surveying, or related role
Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining, energy, or capital projects environments will be advantageous
Basic knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, and change management principles
Exposure to standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, JBCC, or GCC would be advantageous
