Role summary:The Senior Manager, Program Management, leads the execution of multiple business initiatives by developing strategic plans, removing obstacles, and driving performance improvements. This role oversees cross-functional teams, fosters associate development, and ensures alignment with company policies and goals. The position requires strong decision-making, communication, and process improvement skills to enhance program effectiveness and deliver measurable results. By collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders, the Senior Manager advances continuous learning, operational excellence, and innovation to support Walmart’s mission and long-term business success.
About the team:
The Store Tools - Receiving Team develops innovative digital solutions that enhance store receiving operations. This team designs scalable mobile and handheld applications, leveraging advanced wireless tracking to streamline inventory processes. By bridging backend supply chain data with store activities, the team creates user-friendly tools that improve accuracy and efficiency across numerous retail locations. Collaborating cross-functionally, they transform complex logistics into seamless digital experiences, driving operational excellence and real-time visibility from receiving docks to sales floors. The team is committed to continuous improvement, automation, and delivering impactful solutions that support frontline associates in their daily tasks.
What you'll do:
- Lead execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to ensure performance goals are met.
- Supervise and develop associates through mentoring, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Partner with senior leaders to define goals, risks, and success criteria, and communicate program requirements to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Drive continuous process improvements by conducting gap analyses, implementing best practices, and aligning initiatives with company strategy.
- Evaluate program performance using data analytics, recommend adjustments, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance service and product capabilities.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
