Operations: Managing day-to-day operations of the New York office, overseeing administrative processes, coordinating vendors and office-related matters, managing subtenants & business partnerships, and ensuring smooth execution of operational workflows
Strategy: Driving continuous improvement of internal processes, implementing operational initiatives, and supporting strategic projects across the global organization
Leadership: Acting as a key operational partner to the Head of Americas, supporting business operations, coordinating priorities, and taking ownership of supporting daily operations
Human Resources: Managing employee-related operations across the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, while ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience

Personality:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Operations Manager for the New York office, ensuring seamless daily operations
- Coordinate office logistics including supplies and general office organization
- Assist with planning and coordinating team events and internal gatherings
- Manage sub-tenants and other business partnerships
- Provide executive support to a senior executive in the NYC office
- Manage complex calendars, scheduling internal & external meetings
- Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel arrangements and itineraries
- Support the extended team with administrative needs as they arise
· Supporting and advising on investment portfolio processes
- Oversee human resources and related operations for the Americas team
- Define talent and operational strategies and systems
- Manage full cycle recruiting process including but not limited to: sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting calls, assisting in scheduling interviews, compiling feedback, managing candidate communications
- Support and lead ongoing HR processes including but not limited to: onboarding, offboarding, HRIS maintenance, review cycles, payroll, benefits, retirement options
- Own company compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws (e.g., EEO, FLSA, FMLA) and manage workplace safety guidelines
Requirements:
- 2 - 6 years of experience in operations, business operations, consulting, finance, executive support in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree required, with strong academic performance
- Prior experience in financial services preferred (venture capital, private equity, hedge fund, or investment banking), though flexible on background
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and ownership-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

// GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Location: Meatpacking District, NYC
- Set-up: In office work, Mon - Fri
- Travel: Occasional for events or meetings
- Salary (annual): $100,000 - $150,000 base salary
- Benefits: Generous package of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401k matching and various monthly stipends.
- Employer: Picus Capital Americas Corporation (US based subsidiary of Picus acting as the exclusive advisor for investments in North and South America region)
- Visa: No visa sponsorship for newly issued Visas currently possible. Candidates are required to have work authorization in the US
