Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will provide a welcoming presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will use technology to document activity, assist tenants and guests, and help deter incidents through professional visibility and attentive service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and employees at a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Staff the front desk, greet and screen visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report irregularities and escalate concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with building management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required activity reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
