Position Summary
The Logistics Analyst supports logistics operations for four USCIS regions and 130 geographically dispersed USCIS ASC locations. Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role provides comprehensive project management support across key logistics functions, including procurement, property control, FAR compliance, SOP development, and funds expenditure control.
In the absence of the Senior Logistics Manager, this position serves as the primary point of contact, ensuring continuity of operations and decision-making. Additionally, the role ensures strict adherence to Quality Assurance policies, organizational goals, and Environmental Health & Safety standards in all procurement and logistics processes.
Position Accountabilities
Analyze procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and spend analysis, to generate reports and dashboards that provide insights to leadership and support data-driven decision-making and process improvements.
Monitors Purchasing activities with the Senior Logistics Manager to ensure expeditious requirements fills, to include proper coding to Accounts Payable (AP).
Review, verify, and reconcile invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and delivery records to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments.
Works the inventory management program, maintaining the master inventory records for all site locations, to include disposal requirements IAW regulations and procedures
Coordinates quarterly property inventory audits with all sites, updates master inventory records and provides property accountability changes, additions and deletions to the Property Custodian.
Assists in managing site relocations and expansions, in close coordination with the Facilities Department, Senior Logistics Manager and Site and Regional Managers.
Coordinates logistics requirements with selected vendors regarding new property and furniture purchase, move/relocation requirements and applicable disposal requirements.
Initiates Requests for Quotation (RFP) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) to Corporate Global Supplies Chain Management (GSCM) Buyers.
Responsible for the adherence to all Amentum policies and procedures, to include applicable GSCM, Accounts Payable (AP) and USCIS policies/procedures.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly communicate updates, findings, and recommendations to managers, team members, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Collaboration & Training: Ability to train, motivate, support, and work effectively with individuals and multiple departments across different locations and time zones.
Process & Compliance: Working knowledge of standard operating procedures, documentation requirements, approval processes, and compliance-driven workflows.
Coachability & Continuous Improvement: Receptive to feedback and direction, with the ability to learn new processes, adapt to changing requirements, and identify opportunities to improve workflows.
Relevant Experience
Background supporting logistics, procurement, inventory, operations, administrative reporting, business analysis, or related program support functions.
Demonstrated experience working with operational or business data to organize information, maintain reporting, reconcile records, and support decision-making.
Experience working within established procedures, documentation standards, approval processes, or other structured operational environments.
Education
Associate's degree required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, filters, data validation, charts, and reconciliation tools.
2+ years of procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or related experience.
1+ year of logistics, supply chain, inventory, or related operational experience.
Experience supporting multi-site, regional, or geographically dispersed operations.
Experience developing reports, dashboards, metrics, or other analytical tools used to support management decision-making
Ability to travel to the local Application Support Center (ASC) office to observe program operations and assist with the annual physical inventory, including lifting items up to 45 pounds

Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables and Vlookup) and Outlook
Working knowledge of Deltek and Costpoint highly desirable

$62,000-$82,000
