Job Title: Registered Manager
Qualifications Required:
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) essential. Willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership and Management if not already held. TCI trained, or willing to work towards, preferred.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years' experience within the residential sector, ideally children's services.

An experienced Registered Manager to lead the operational day-to-day management of our client's home, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation at all times.
You'll be responsible for the development and supervision of the care team, and for being accessible to the children in your care, building strong bonds and relationships with them.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the opening of a new children's home, and being registered as the manager for the home by Ofsted. Ensuring the service is safe, effective, and meets Ofsted standards throughout. Recruiting, managing and developing the care team, including responsibility for training and development. Producing accurate reports and records, and holding a strong working knowledge of the legislation governing children's home operation.
You'll need to be flexible, a strong communicator, and confident keeping accurate records. You should be equally comfortable using your own initiative and working collaboratively as part of a team. A valid DBS is required, with the update service preferred.
